Product Information: How Leadcleaner Works
Here are the basic steps to building an online response form using Leadcleaner. We'll skip over some of the fancier features for now (see List Management to learn about list management, and Tracking Sources to discover how to measure response from various campaign tactics).
Qualifying questions
Add as many questions to your form as you like. Leadcleaner lets you create multiple choice questions (radio buttons, checkboxes, drop-downs), or open ended questions (short or long text response). Text questions can use validation to ensure that the user is typing in a correctly formatted email, phone number, or zip code.
Just let us know what you want -- or, if you're not sure, we'll talk you through the process. We always recommend sitting down with your sales staff and asking "What makes an 'A' lead?" It might be company size, industry, authority to purchase, specific need, or a variety of other factors.
Just send us your questions as a Word doc, HTML, email, or whatever works for you. As a full-service company, we'll handle all the dirty work, and bring everything into the right look and feel.
Full-service layout and design
Same goes with look and feel. We can make it work. Send us your Photoshop comps, a Web page from your site you'd like to match, etc. We'll do all the coding, make sure it works on all browsers, and match it to your existing creative. It's all built in to your flat rate.
Take your form live
Only a couple of steps left: first, the thank-you page. If you're offering a downloadable incentive, we can add it here. Again, we host the file and serve it to your respondents -- all you have to do is send it to us. Or, you can choose to route your prospects to a thank-you page hosted on your corporate site -- maybe the software download area, or an event details page.
Now, just pick the URL you want for the form. Most of our clients prefer to purchase a one-shot domain to use for each form, to simplify the process for their users. Just let us know what domain you're thinking of registering. We'll instantly check availability, and buy it with a single click if it's available. And that's all you have to do -- no filling out domain purchase forms, mapping nameservers, or any of that business. Just click once, and we'll handle all the messy details. (And, yes -- that domain belongs to you, not us, and we can transfer it to you at any time, should you want to keep it after the campaign ends.)
Everything look OK? You can stage the site to show it to your client. Once you're ready to roll, just let us know, and we'll publish the form on your domain of choice! From start to finish, it generally takes under an hour to build a form with our system... compare this to the weeks it can take working with a developer.
Measure responses
Here's the real payoff. Now you get to watch those responses rolling in, and slice up the data to get exactly the kind of feedback your sales force and marketing teams need.
Start by setting up qualifying rules. Any multiple-choice question you've asked can be used as a qualifier. Assign weightings to each qualifying question, and determine how optimal each possible answer is. Use as many qualifiers as you like -- don't worry, we'll do the math!
You'll also want to stipulate the response groups you wish to split your results by... normally you'll be mailing to three to five different lists, and you'll want to measure how well each of those lists is doing against the others. You might also be testing different media (email vs. postal) or creative... for more details, check out Tracking Sources. Here's also where you specify the size of each of those lists -- this lets us calculate response rate.
View Reports
Now you've done all the work -- you get to check out the fruits of your labor! We'll show you statistical breakdowns of how well each list is pulling, how good the leads are (scored from 1 to 10, i.e., cold to hot), and any quantitative questions you may have asked. You can jump right in and look at individual leads online, using our Lead Cards feature -- or download all or some of the leads to drop into your contact management software. We're also happy to build a direct link into your salesforce automation software or CRM package... we can generally turn these semi-custom projects around in a week or so.
